Creative Clay Constructions: Winter School Holiday Workshop

Join local ceramic artist Felicity Burman for a fun, two-day hand-building clay adventure! Perfect for kids and teens who want to get their hands dirty and create something unique.

Using the slab-building method, students will learn to craft boxes, cylinders, castles, treasure chests, or anything with straight sides.

📅 The Two-Day Program

• Day 1: Get Mucky! 👐 (The Mud Stage) Learn hand-forming and slab-building techniques to construct the main shape of your creation.
• Day 2: Add Details & Colour! 🌈 Cut out windows, add custom features, and use decorative underglazes to bring your piece to life.

After the workshop: Pieces will be thoroughly dried, fired in the kiln, coated in a shiny gloss glaze, and fired a second time. Your student will take home a fully finished, professional-looking ceramic piece!
