Spend a relaxed, creative evening carving and designing your very own handmade ceramic Christmas Tree!

Join us at Brassey Studio & Gallery in Eaglehawk for a hands-on workshop guided by Felicity Ceramics. The Christmas Tree's are lovingly hand-built ahead of time by Felicity, leaving you with a beautiful, ready-to-decorate surface. Whether you want to follow our supplied design inspiration or carve something completely unique to your own style, Felicity will walk you through working with each carving tool and introduce you to sgraffito techniques to add texture and detail to your piece. Each person will be the able to design and sculpt their own tree topper! Eg. Star, Angel, Dove, Bow etc. 

Sip on refreshments, enjoy some tasty nibbles, and discover the joy of pottery and sculpture in our bespoke studio. Once the tree is complete, you will then get to choose your own glaze combinations to complete your tree!

 

Workshop Details: 

• Time: 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM (2.5 hours)

• Location: Brassey Studio & Gallery, Eaglehawk

• Price: $165.00 per person

Class Details

• Date: Thursday, 19th of November.

• A Hand-Built Oval Platter: Crafted by Felicity, ready for your artistic touch.

• Expert Guidance: Step-by-step instructions on clay sgraffito carving techniques and drilling clay.

• All Supplies Provided: Use of studio ceramic tools and design inspiration guides.

• Refreshments & Nibbles: Enjoy drinks and snacks while you paint and chat.

• Professional Glazing & Firing: After the workshop, Felicity will take your Christmas Tree away to be bisque-fired, clear-glazed, and glaze-fired to a professional finish.

The Finishing Touch & Pick-Up

Once your masterpiece has been fired and perfected, we will notify you when it’s ready! You can pop back into Brassey Studio & Gallery to collect your finished custom Christmas Tree and meet back up with us at the shop.

 

To ensure everyone has plenty of space and personalised guidance, this class is strictly capped at a maximum of 10 adults. It’s the perfect workshop to book with your best mate or a small Christmas party group—especially since all platters will be fired and ready just in time to create a meaningful, handmade gift or keepsake ornament before Christmas!
